Lyn Barnett
I started work at Hughes Architects in January 2006 after working in administration since leaving school at 16. I had worked for the previous 10 years in sport being part of a team that organised football tournaments in Wales, Ireland and Scotland. Along side this I also worked for Newtown AFC Ltd.
Moving to an architectural company was a totally new experience but over the years I have developed my role and am now Practice Manager, PA to the Director and carry out the financial day to day running of the company.
Outside of work I like to spend time with family and friends. I enjoy socialising especially if food is involved and maybe a bottle of wine.
To compensate for this I have convinced myself that I like swimming and walking. I swim on a regular basis and walk when bullied into it as long as a meal is waiting at the end of it. My most recent achievement was to finally get to the top of Snowdon. Cader Idris is my next challenge………
