here are a few projects which are currently in development or on site.
Conversion of a listed building to offices
A Grade 2 former gentlemen's outfitters is being converted to offices- for us!! A largely unchanged Georgian terrace building that has been in the same ownership since the 1920s shall be given a new lease of life as our offices.
A new learning space for the National Botanic Garden of Wales
We have just started work on an innovative design for a new initiative at the National Botanic Garden of Wales. Using a Ty Unnos build system we are working towards making a planning application for this new building in the next month.
50 flats and apartments in Newtown
We are in early discussions with the planners and Newtown Civic Society for a large scheme of residential development on a contaminated brownfield site adjacent to the town's Conservation Area. Set amongst 73 Listed Buildings this is a very challenging project for us but we are thoroughly enjoying designing on a site with so many constraints.
Building in the garden, Pant, Shropshire
What do you do when your garden is too large and the house you live in is too big for your needs? You build a smaller better insulated one in the bottom of your garden! We are in early discussions with the planners on this one.
Extension to Pen Y Llyn, Gwynedd
Renovation and Extension of an original Grade 2 Quarryman's Cottage
Wine Cellars and Production Facility, Newtown
Development of a bespoke winery, enabling the expansion of production and facilities at this Powys based vineyard.
New office building, Eagle House, Severn Street, Welshpool
A highly environmentally performing single storey buidling in the middle of the town's Conservation Area. We are ready to start on site in June 2012. Follow our progress on Facebook.
New Passivhaus houses, St. Mellons, Cardiff
Project that involves designing 15 dwellings to Passivhaus standards in collaboration with BRE Wales and Woodknowledge Wales on behalf of United Welsh HA. This has been issued for pre application advice to the planners this month (May 2012).
Major urban regeneration, Newtown, Powys
