Stephanie Govier
I graduated with my Diploma in Architecture from Liverpool John Moore’s University in 2010, after having also studied there for my degree. I have previously worked for a practice in Stafford in my year out, but came to Hughes Architects a year ago, and recently secured a permanent contract here.
I grew up in the village of Penkridge, but now live in Shrewsbury with my Landscape Architect other half. I like visiting new places, and whilst at university, I was lucky enough to be able to go on many study trips, including New York, Rotterdam, Berlin and Barcelona, which helped me to appreciate many different forms of architecture.
In my spare time I enjoy creative activities, such as sewing and photography, and recently had a photograph I had taken published in an online travel guide. I am also a massive sports fan (of the spectating variety!) and I enjoy trips to various sporting events, such as Wimbledon, and the odd visit to Villa Park.
