The derelict barn and outbuildings had great views to one side but also sat alongside a busy road.
So the design needed to consider privacy and shielding from noise whilst making the most of the stunning view and light to the South. The original stone barn is retained and repaired, with a new extension in place of the former sheds. A large open plan living area faces South.
